LUANAR WORLD SAVING AWARENESS DAY

On 10th November 2023, the Germn Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation (DSIK) in collaboration with the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), organised a Saving awareness event for students.

The event was organised in commemoration of the saving awareness week themed Save today Live better Tomorrow carried out under the Reserve Bank of Malawi in collaboration with financial stakeholders in the country.

Students in all faculties of the University participated in the event through a financial literacy quiz, and delegates from the Reserve Bank of Malawi, MUSCCO, and other banking institutions shared their insights on the importance of saving and managing personal finances in a podium discussion.
