Program Description
The Textile and Fashion Design program, launched in August 2023 at LUANAR – NRC, is Malawi’s pioneering initiative in this field. Developed in collaboration with industry stakeholders, this innovative program aims to tackle unemployment by equipping students with cutting-edge skills in fashion and textile design. Emphasizing creativity and hands-on experience, the program prepares students for diverse roles both locally and internationally, tapping into the untapped potential of Malawi’s fashion industry.
Requirements for Admission
Applicants should have a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent with credit passes in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
