Functions of the Office of the University Registrar

The University Registrar is the Chief administration officer of the University. His office is responsible for managerial and administrative policy reforms geared towards enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of managerial and administrative structures, systems and procedures as well as Interpreting and implementing rules and regulations of the University.

The office takes overall responsibility for human resources services including planning, performance appraisal system and staff welfare; Academic affairs, Marketing and Communication among others.

It also serves as secretary to University Council, Senate and other committees as prescribed in the Statutes; the office is also responsible for safe keeping and updating of staff and student records including a register of alumni and their qualifications; and Coordination of all university ceremonies.
