The Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics at LUANAR equips students with statistical and computational skills to analyze and interpret biological and health-related data. The program combines coursework in mathematics, statistics, and biology to address public health challenges, agricultural research, and other life sciences. Graduates are prepared for roles in research institutions, healthcare, and industries requiring data-driven decision making.
Generic entrants are required to have Malawi school certificate of education (MSCE) with at least 6 credits including English. In addition, applicants must have a strong credit (1-3 points) in Mathematics. Applicants with equivalent international qualifications are also eligible.
