We are excited to celebrate a remarkable achievement by Prof. Abdi-Khalil Edriss, Big Data Management Coordinator at ACE II AF APA and Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics.

With Financial Support from ACE II AF APA, Prof. Edriss has authored a groundbreaking Econometrics textbook that uses real African data and examples. This book fills a long-standing gap by contextualizing econometric principles within African realities, making it a powerful tool for students, researchers, and policymakers.

The book was officially unveiled during the recently concluded Technical Advisory Meeting (TAM) and the 26th Regional Steering Committee (RSC) Meeting, held from 8–11 December 2025 at the Munyonyo Commonwealth Speke Resort, Kampala, Uganda, where it received an enthusiastic reception from regional partners and stakeholders.

This milestone marks a major academic contribution and showcases LUANAR’s growing leadership in advancing research, innovation, and evidence-based policy across Africa.
