The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) is pleased to announce successful candidates who have been selected for Diploma programmes at the Natural Resources College.

All the successful candidates, August 2024 selected candidates and those who were pursuing bridging programme (2024) are required to report to the Natural Resources College on 1st March 2026. Registration and orientation will be conducted from 2nd to 6th March 2026. Candidates are required to pay a minimum of 50% of their tuition fees. All payments should be deposited into the College account prior to reporting to the campus. Registration will remain open until 2nd April 2026. Failure to adhere to these requirements will result in the forfeiture of the offered place.

Classes are set to begin on 9th March 2026.

DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES (TUITION FEES)

Tuition fees is MK650, 000 per academic year or MK325,000 per semester. At least 50% of the tuition fee must be paid for a student to be registered. In addition to the tuition fee, all students are required to pay a registration fee of MK2, 500 per semester which must be deposited into the same account.

Students are advised to include their student name on the bank deposit slip when depositing the fees at the bank. Please note that the University does not receive fees in cash, as such all students are advised to deposit their fees to the following bank accounts:

Admission letters will be sent through email to all the students. Those who will not have received the emails can obtain copies from NRC Campus Admissions office in person or email nrcadmissions@luanar.ac.mw or nrcacademics@luanar.ac.mw for further enquiries.

CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION

LUANAR selects students on a non-residential basis. However, there is limited hostel accommodation available on a first come first served basis, unless otherwise stated. Priority for campus accommodation is normally given to new students and those with proven special needs. Accommodation reservations are only accepted from students who have paid at least half of their tuition Fees. Accommodation Fees cost is at MK 134,000 per semester. The amount should be deposited to cover a full semester of four months to the NRC fees accounts provided above. Accommodation fees should NOT be deposited unless you have applied for accommodation and your name has appeared on the list of those granted campus accommodation. Proof of payment will be required prior to being allocated accommodation upon arrival on campus.
