The Department of Agribusiness Management (ABM) is one of the departments in the Faculty of Development Studies of the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). Apply NowWe offer a wide range of capacity building packages including training in agribusiness management, training of trainers for extension service deliverers, cooperative development, leadership and entrepreneurship. We have training modules in business planning, financial management, entrepreneurship, leadership and management that are applicable to all sectors and have been tested across the different set-ups.

In terms of human capacity, the Department has the Head of Department and a total of 11 academic staff, who are also researchers having a minimum qualification of Master’s Degree in various fields that include, International Development, Entrepreneurship, Accounting (with ACCA qualification), Economics/Agricultural Economics/ Food and Resource Economics, Finance and Microfinance, Human Resources Management, Business Administration and Marketing.
