Gomezgani Nyasulu is a Horticulturist and a lecturer at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) Bunda Campus, Mitundu Malawi. He started teaching there in 2022 and is currently the Deputy Manager of LUANAR-Horticulture Department Landscape Project at Bunda Campus. Gomezgani has an agricultural and plant science background (B.Sc. in Horticulture, UNIMA-Bunda College of Agriculture, Malawi and M.Sc. International Horticulture, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany), he has worked in the agricultural sector for more than 10 years both governmental [Ministry of Transport and Public Works (Buildings Department-Landscape Section), Ministry of Labour-AFDB Project] and private sector organizations [Alliance One Tobacco Malawi, Foundation for Irrigation and Sustainable Development (FISD), Plan International Malawi, United Purpose, Self-Help Africa (formerly United Purpose), Save the Children, ICAP Malawi, Chancellor College School of Education, GFA Consulting Group Hamburg, Centre for Development Management (CDM)]. Gomezgani is interested in the following areas of research: sustainable ornamental horticulture production (including Floriculture), sustainable and resilient landscapes, edible landscapes, landscape designs and architecture; looking at various trends and problems that have risen due to climate change.
