About Mr Chiphwanya Maxwell
Maxwell is an animal production specialist, a researcher and an educator with vast experience in the field of nutrition of small ruminants and dairy cattle. He obtained his MSc. Animal Science from LUANAR.
He has been participating in research and development projects, outreach activities promoting the use of locally adapted technologies in feeds and feeding to improve dairy cattle, poultry and goat productivity among smallholder farmers. His additional interests include research into other locally available feedstuffs for potential to improve animal nutrition while addressing greenhouse gas emissions as a wider topic in climate-smart agriculture
Currently, he is involved in teaching, delivering tutorials and practicals in fundamental courses such as anatomy and physiology, animal behaviour and animal environmental physiology.
