The Bachelor of Science in Food Technology program provides students with a solid foundation in food science, covering key areas such as food processing, safety, quality control, and sustainability. With a curriculum that includes courses in chemistry, biology, food microbiology, and food engineering, students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through laboratory work, simulations, and industry attachments. Graduates will be equipped with the expertise needed to analyze, process, and manage food safety and quality in a variety of professional settings.
Applicants should have a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent with credit passes in Mathematics, English, and at least two Science subjects, such as Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
