Dr. Chiyembekezo Chafuwa is Research Fellow for the Centre for Agricultural Research and Development (CARD) at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). Prior to that, she worked as a Research Analyst at International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) under Malawi Strategy Support Program (MaSSP). Her research interests include economic and rural development, climate change, price analysis, and food security in Malawi. She holds a PhD in Economics from LUANAR, a Master of Science Degree in Development and Natural Resource Economics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), and a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College.
