Mr. Ian Madalitso Saini holds a master’s degree (Management of Natural Resources and Sustainable Agriculture) from Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB). He also holds a BSc (Agriculture) with bias towards crop science and has been in the crop production sector working with farmers, farm workers and students both in the private and public sectors in Malawi since his graduation with a bachelor’s degree in 2000. He also holds a number of professional certificates from different institutions and bodies and thus attaining multi-disciplinary status. Currently his work revolves around capacity building specializing in crop production practical component.

2019- Current- Up- scaling sustainable agriculture concept and its application in Lilongwe Rural through demonstration plots managed in a farmers’ field school format-Funded by Earthwatch Institute (UK) and co-implemented by Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Net Impact (Lilongwe Chapter) and Sustainable Solutions for life. CRS-SANE Project has been playing an important role in mobilizing farmers around Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources during field days.
