Professor Kennedy Machira is a distinguished academic and researcher specializing in Development economics, social and mathematical sciences, and Household Modelling at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) in Malawi. With over two decades of expertise, Professor Machira has made significant contributions towards the capacity building of human resources in Agricultural and Applied Economics, Public Finance Management, sustainable development and community resilience in an African context. Worth to note, Professor Machira's scholarly work encompasses more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and 294 citations, focusing on wide array of topics with an impact on sustainable intensification technologies, health and development. His research interest, has over time, integrates economic analysis with social dynamics.
