PROFILE

Loveness is passionate about, Market oriented extension and agricultural commercialisation; Gender and agricultural development: competitiveness of agricultural enterprises, research. She has worked in Government and Civil Society Organisations before taking up the post of the lecturer for Extension and Rural Development.

Her prevailing research work are espoused in the following projects:

Pathways to agriculture commercialization- Agriculture Policy Research in Africa (2016 -2021)
Skills for Employment: Scaling Up Technical and Vocational Training (2016 – 2018)

She is responsible for teaching courses such as farming systems and livelihood analysis; community development; extension systems and approaches plus introduction to agricultural extension.

Loveness Mgalamadzi earned her BSc in Agricultural Extension at Bunda College of Agriculture in 2008 and went to National Pingtung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan where she obtained a Master of Science in Agribusiness Management in 2012. She is currently pursuing her PhD.
