The Southern Africa Network for Biosciences (SANBio) provides a shared research, development and innovation platform for working collaboratively to address some of the Southern Africa’s key biosciences issues in health, nutrition and cross cutting areas in agriculture and environment. The BioFISA II programme, supported through a partnership between the Department of Science and Technology (DST) in South Africa, the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) and implementing partners, aims to strengthen the NEPAD/SANBio Network.
