Tchiyiwe Moyo-Chunda
Tchiyiwe Moyo-Chunda is a master's student in Human Nutrition at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) in Lilongwe, Malawi. Mentored by Dr. Agnes Mwangwela as part of the "Southern Africa Peanut Value Chain Interventions" project, she is examining the quality and safety of peanut butter in the Malawian retail market.
By sampling peanut butter sold in stores and informal markets around the country, Moyo-Chunda developed a training program for processors that is already making nutritious peanut butter safer and tastier in her region.
